To Create the Markup Template

Open the Markup Settings dialog and click Edit.
An alert box opens asking if you want to save your active file. Once you click Yes or No, the active template opens.
If this is the first time you are creating a template, a blank template sheet opens.

From the Markup Template toolbox () or from the Templates task, click the Create Markup Template tool.
The Create Markup Template tool settings window opens.
- Enter the template name and description.

From the Size option menu, select the sheet size or Custom.
If you select Custom, the Custom Sheet Size dialog opens.
- In the dialog, enter the custom height and width and click OK.

In the Create Markup Template tool setting window, select the Orientation and click OK.
A box with diagonal lines shows the markup content display area according to the size and orientation you chose.
